System Update - September 2018 - Discover the latest updates to My Gadget Repairs

As always, our team’s core focus is to deliver a seamless experience for our users. We have been busy working on product improvements over the past month and wanted to share a few highlights.

Announcement Popup:

The announcement page is specifically designed to keep you up-to-date, informing you about system improvements, new features, tips/tricks and integrations. This allows you to keep everything on your fingertips and always be informed. Look out because we usually have a lot going on and this means that your announcement page will usually be loaded.

Settings:

  • --Skins
    • We have added an option to choose skins.
  • --Close Popup Window
    • New option has been added so you can control the popup closing, by default we close the popup when you click outside the popup.
  • --Ticket Conditions
    • Now ticket conditions can be based on "Issue Types", by default they are not but system allows you to associate conditions to an existing issue type.

Tickets:

  • Legal Documents 
    • Now you can add legal documents and attach them to a ticket with customer signatures. Legal documents are stored in the "Documents" tab and can be accessed when you modify/open an existing ticket.
  • Service Level Agreement
    • We have added Service level agreements which can be linked to tickets. Also there are two new notification alerts related to SLA.
      • 32 - Alert to repairer & shop-admin 15 minutes before ticket SLA expires.
      • 33 - Alert to repairer & shop-admin when ticket SLA expired.

New Integrations:

  • Twilio
    • Setup automated alerts and notifications whenever a repair job is completed, pending for parts or available for pickup.
  • Nexmo
    • Send responses which trigger automatically when the status of a repair job is completed, pending or available for pickup.

Request Stock (Stock Manager):

We have added a new process for shops to request stock from the warehouses which streamlines the whole process of stock request.
