System Update - October 2021 - Discover the latest updates to My Gadget Repairs

As always, our team’s core focus is to deliver a seamless experience for our users. We have been busy working on product improvements over the past month and wanted to share a few highlights.

KPI Dashboard:

  • We have added the followings tabs on the KPI dashboard.
    • Tickets by Hours
      • This will show you the tickets created by the hour (0-23) and the count of tickets for each slot.
    • Tickets by Days
      • This will show you the tickets created by the days of the month and the count of tickets for each slot.
    • Tickets by Months
      • This will show you the tickets created by the months and the count of tickets for each slot.
    • Tickets by Sources
      • This will show you the tickets created by sources and the count of tickets for each slot.

Settings:

  • Customer > Customer Portal
    • Default Date Range for Search
      • We have added an option to set the default date range on the "Customer Portal" for the data retrieval.
  • Template Editor
    • Emails
      • We have added a new template called "Email to Supplier" which will be used from the "Purchase Order" interface. Previously we were using the language variables for that.
    • Labels > Ticket label
      • We have added a new tag called “[REPAIR_DUE_DATE]”  which will show just the date without the time.
  • Ticket > Custom Fields
    • We have added an option to do a carriage return "" before or after any custom field. The drop has 3 values.
      • None
      • Before - "" will be added before adding the custom field which means this custom field will be on a new line.
      • After - "" will be added after adding the custom field which means the next custom field will be on the new line.
  • Products
    • Manage Columns on Product Manager
      • We have added a new option called "Description" in the columns list which will allow you to show the product description.
    • Product Dropdown Template
      • We have added a new option called "{product_description}" in the "Product Dropdown Template" which will allow you to show product description if needed. Please note that we ONLY show 30 characters and not all the whole description field. 
      • The product dropdown list now uses the additional model association as well.

Estimates:

  • "Franchise/Shop Ref" with an Estimate number
    • We are now excluding "Franchise/Shop Ref" from the estimate ref number.

Tickets:

  • Create/Modify Ticket
    • Total Unpaid and No of unpaid Invoices
      • We are now showing the amount due when you create or modify a ticket so you can see what's the value of "Total Unpaid" is.
      • We are also showing the total number of unpaid invoices when you create or modify a ticket so you can see how many unpaid invoices are.
  • Ticket Search Form
    • We have added a new search field called "Linked Tickets" which will allow you to search all the tickets that were created as linked tickets.
  • Ticket Status Rules
    • You can now add custom fields in the search criteria to filter the data which will allow you to make the selection better.

Customer Manager:

  • Modify Customer > Templates
    • Picking Slip
      • We have added an option to choose a different "Picking Slip" template for each customer.
  • Company Detail View
    • Customer Equipment
      • When you're in the company detail view we have added a new link to list all the tickets for that company with the same serial number.

Product Manager:

  • Product Code Length
    • We have increased the "Product Code" length to 50 on the following interfaces.
      • Create Product
      • Modify Product
      • Import Products
  • Product Import
    • You can now assign product "Sub Categories" during the import.
  • Product Export
    • When you export products you will see the "Categories" column with "Sub Categories" delimited with "~".
  • Activity Boxes
    • We have added a new box to show you "InActive" "Products/Services/Bundles", the new box next to the "Active" "Products/Services/Bundles".

Stock Manager:

  • Suppliers
    • We have added an option to define "Email to Supplier" for each supplier which will be used from the "Purchase Order" interface. This way if your suppliers are multilingual then you can set a different email for each one of them.

Purchase Order:

  • Email to Supplier
    • "Email to Supplier" now uses the template rather than language variables.

Sales:

  • POS Sales > Returns:
    • We are now showing the "Return Notes (Public)" on the POS receipts.
    • "Return" interface now shows all the previous returns with "Return Notes".
    • If a serialized stock is returned then we show the returned serial on the POS receipt to make it easier.
    • We have added a new field called "Return Notes (Private)" for any private notes.
  • Ticket Sales > Returns:
    • We are now showing the "Return Notes (Public)" on the Ticket invoice.
    • "Return" interface now shows all the previous returns with "Return Notes".
    • If a serialized stock is returned then we show the returned serial on the Ticket invoice to make it easier.

Customer Portal:

  • Default Date Range for Search
    • We have added a new dropdown to control the date range. The default value can be set via the shop settings Customer > Customer Portal. The date range will be applied on the following tabs.

      • Repair History
      • Warranty
      • Invoices
      • POS Sales
      • Leads
      • Estimates
      • Assets
      • Parts Order

      • Rewards

    • We have added an endpoint to list all the modified products.

        • We have added a trigger to list all the modified products.
