System Update - March 2021 - Discover the latest updates to My Gadget Repairs

As always, our team’s core focus is to deliver a seamless experience for our users. We have been busy working on product improvements over the past month and wanted to share a few highlights.

Settings:

  • Products
    • COGS Method
      • We have added an option so you can choose the correct method for your business to evaluate the COGS. The two most common techniques (LIFO, FIFO) used in valuing COGS of inventory. This way you don't need to use the buttons provided in the purchase order. As soon as you have received the inventory it will set the cost based on your setting.
      • Please note that the system DOES NOT take the "Delivery charges" and "Custom duty" charges into consideration. You will have to adjust the cost accordingly of each item lines.
    • Template Editor - Labels
      • Customer Purchase Label
        • We have added the following tags to the customer purchase label.
          • [CONVERTED_PRODUCT_DATE]
          • [CONVERTED_PRODUCT_NAME]
          • [CONVERTED_PRODUCT_CONDITION]
          • [CONVERTED_PRODUCT_CODE]
          • [CONVERTED_PRODUCT_DESCRIPTION]
          • [CONVERTED_PRODUCT_PRICE]
        • Please note that if you're using converted products tags in your label then tags will only show when the product has been converted. If you try to print it before then the values will be blank.

Leads:

  • Referred By
    • When you create a new lead, you can now tag "Referred By" with each lead. This will enable you to track where these leads are coming from.
    • We have added activity boxes on the "Leads Manager" which will show each "Referred By" in a separate box so it's easier for you to see which ones are doing well.
    • We have also added a new field in the "Search Form" called "Referred By" so you can also filter the leads if needed.
    • When we list the leads we are now showing a tag with "Referred By" so you easily identify the source of the lead.

Estimates:

  • Referred By
    • When you create a new estimate, you can now tag "Referred By" with each estimate. This will enable you to track where these estimates are coming from.
    • We have added activity boxes on the "Estimate Manager" which will show each "Referred By" in a separate box so it's easier for you to see which ones are doing well.
    • We have also added a new field in the "Search Form" called "Referred By" so you can also filter the estimates if needed.
    • When we list the estimates we are now showing a tag with "Referred By" so you easily identify the source of the estimate.

Tickets:

  • Ticket Manager
    • We have added a new field in the search form called "Show ticket with Timer", which will list all the tickets with the timer. This will enable you to easily identify the tickets with the timer log.
    • We now show the "Ticket Timer" with each ticket even if the timer is running on the ticket. This way you can how much time has been spent on each ticket.
  • Ticket Status - Rules
    • We have added a new function to create rules based on the ticket statuses. This way you can monitor if tickets are stalling on that status for a long period.
    • You can create your own rules, multiple rules can be created on one ticket status.
    • You can copy/clone rule quickly to save time.
    • You can also see all the tickets in the rule as well from the same screen.
  • Ticket Monitor
    • We have added the flag so you know which tickets are "Parent Tickets" and which ones are "Linked Tickets".
    • We now show the "Ticket Timer" with each ticket on the monitor even if the timer is running on the ticket. This way you can how much time has been spent on each ticket.

Customer Manager:

  • Customer Purchase Label
    • The customer purchase label now has the new tags related to the converted products, please note that if you're using converted products tags in your label then tags will only show when the product has been converted. If you try to print it before then the values will be blank.
  • Customer Purchase Stock
    • You can now add the bough quantity as stock if the product already exists in the inventory which simplifies the whole customer purchase process.

Sales:

  • Ticket Invoices - POS Sales - Recurring Invoices
    • Customer Group in the Search
      • We have added the option to search by "Customer Groups" in the "Ticket Invoices", "POS Sales" and "Recurring Invoices", which makes it easier when you making a bulk payment.
  • Ticket Invoices - POS Sales
    • We have added the option to modify the item line cost price, as you are already aware that the system writes the current cost price at the time of adding the item lines. In some cases that product cost price might be incorrect, in that case, you are now able to modify the item line's cost price.
  • Recurring Invoices
    • Customer Address in the Search
      • We have added the option to search by "Customer Address" in the "Recurring Invoices", which makes it easier to filter data.

Reports:

  • Shift Rotal Report
    • We have added an option to allow you to add all shifts in the "", this way you don't have to select individual shifts.
    • We are now showing the notes when group by is "Individual".

API Interface:

  • /leads - Referred By
    • POST
      • You can now post ​"referred_by" via the API.
    • GET
      • We now return "referred_by" via the API in the GET method.
  • /leads/{leadid} - Referred By
    • GET
      • We now return "referred_by" via the API via the GET method.
    • PUT
      • You can now update ​"referred_by" via the API.

3rd-Party Integration:

      • New Lead
        • We now return "referred_by" element when you trigger "New Lead".
    • Actions
      • Create Lead
        • You can now post ​"referred_by" via the "Create Lead" action.
      • Update Lead
        • You can now update ​"referred_by" via the "Create Lead" action.
