As always, our team’s core focus is to deliver a seamless experience for our users. We have been busy working on product improvements over the past month and wanted to share a few highlights.
- Public API
- We have added the option to create/update/delete "Customers" via the public API.
- We have added the option to create/update/delete "Tickets" via the public API.
- We have added a new endpoint (/customFields/{type:tickets|customers|products}) in the API which will return the list of all custom fields.
- Allocate Tickets to: If this option is set with a technician then system will assign all the created tickets to this technician by default. Some shops have only one tech and they want every ticket to go to one technician.
- Manage Bank Accounts
- We have added a new option in the shop settings to manage your bank accounts for reconciliation purposes. From the register page you are now be able set the payments with the correct bank and date when the payments were deposited and who deposited the money. Bank reconciliation is the process of checking to make sure that the balance on your bank statement matches the POS sales and Ticket Sales. When the two figures match, you have reconciled your bank account. If the two figures don't match, your bank account is unreconciled.
- Shops Sync
- We have added the option to sync "Canned Responses Categories" and "Canned Responses" via the shop sync interface.
- Payment Methods
- We have added the option to make the payment method default so it is selected on the payment page.
- Barcode on Ticket Custom Fields
- You can now generate barcode with any of the custom fields and it will be displayed on the "Customer Receipt" as a barcode as well as the value.

- -- Estimate Expiry in days
- We have added an option to set the expiry date of the estimates, default value is 7 days.
- -- New Customer Form
- Option to open the new customer popup in a full screen or samll screen, default value is small.
- Estimate Labels
- Added a new template for "Estimate Labels" so you can change it accordingly if needed.

- Include Ticket Comments on Out-Take Form
- Now you have the option to include the ticket comments on the out-take form.
- Saved Searches / Share Saved Searches
- You can now share your saved searches with other users. It make the whole process quicker and other users don't have to create saved searches by themselves.
- Import/Export Tickets Comments
- You can now import and export ticket comments too, which makes it easier when you importing data from another provider.
- Custom Fields in the Ticket Label
- Added the option to include custom fields in the ticket labels.
- Allocate Tickets to: If this option is set with a technician then system will assign all the created tickets to this technician by default. Some shops have only one tech and they want every ticket to go to one technician. Also bulk ticket process will set the technician too.
- Communications Tab
- We have added a new tab called "Communications", it has three sections "EMAILS", "SMS" and "CALLS", in each section it will display the relevant information. Please remember that SMS are based on customer (mobile number) rather than a ticket. Currently received sms are only for bulksms integration but in the future it will be available for all sms providers.
- Call Customer
- We have added an option to call customer within the MGR, when you click on "Make a Call" a new popup will appear, please click on the "Call [number] Now" button to initiate the call and when finished please add notes and click on "Submit" button. You can use the same popup for inbound calls too, just don't initiate the call and set the direction to "Inbound", add notes and click on "Submit" button.
- Ticket Labels
- You can now add QR codes on the ticket labels too its very useful when the device comes back, you know what was done last time.
- Barcodes of custom fields

- Estimate Labels

- Automated Serialization
- We have added the option to automatically generate serialized stock from purchase order interface,
- Register Report - Deposited Amount
- Added the option to track deposited money in the bank, it allows you to see when the payment was deposited and to which bank account.
- Customer Dropdown
- We have changed the customer dropdown in the whole application, now it searches as soon as you typed 3 or more characters.
- Print Loyalty Points
- We always print the loyalty points on customer receipts however we have added an option to print loyalty points balance from the customer modify screen.
- Convert all purchase items to product
- There is a new option to convert all purchase items to product at once which makes the whole process quicker.

- Customer Portal - Embed Code
- Now you can embed customer portal in your own website, this way user does not see the My Gadget Repairs url.
- IMEIDB Integration
- IMEIDB - this small project allows you to decrypt IMEImobile devices and receive information about them. The database consists of more than 160 000 TAC numbers and is updated daily.
- Cloud Print (Google/Print Node)
- We have added the option to print estimate labels automatically.
- bulksms Inbound/Received SMS
- Added the option in the bulksms integration to collect received messages from the customers. Please follow the instructions in the 3rd-party integration of the app to setup the inbound sms functionality.
- txtlocal Inbound/Received SMS
- Added the option in the txtlocal integration to collect received messages from the customers. Please follow the instructions in the 3rd-party integration of the app to setup the inbound sms functionality.
- Clickatell Inbound/Received SMS
- Added the option in the Clickatell integration to collect received messages from the customers. Please follow the instructions in the 3rd-party integration of the app to setup the inbound sms functionality.
- SMS Broadcast Inbound/Received SMS
- Added the option in the SMS Broadcast integration to collect received messages from the customers. Please follow the instructions in the 3rd-party integration of the app to setup the inbound sms functionality.
- SMS Global Inbound/Received SMS
- Added the option in the SMS Global integration to collect received messages from the customers. Please follow the instructions in the 3rd-party integration of the app to setup the inbound sms functionality.
- Nexmo Inbound/Received SMS
- Added the option in the Nexmo integration to collect received messages from the customers. Please follow the instructions in the 3rd-party integration of the app to setup the inbound sms functionality.
- Twilio Inbound/Received SMS
- Added the option in the Twilio integration to collect received messages from the customers. Please follow the instructions in the 3rd-party integration of the app to setup the inbound sms functionality.
- hslmobile Inbound/Received SMS
- Added the option in the hslmobile integration to collect received messages from the customers. Please follow the instructions in the 3rd-party integration of the app to setup the inbound sms functionality.
